 **UPDATE # 1**

Detectives are still seeking the identity and whereabouts of the man who robbed the Chase Bank on Daniels Parkway earlier this week.  After investigating the robbery over the last few days, they now believe the suspect fled the area in a gold Toyota Camry, which was waiting nearby.  Photos of the car believed to be linked to the robbery are attached to this release.

Anyone who may have seen this vehicle either right before or immediately after the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or by submitting a tip on the P3Tips mobile app.

Suspect at large after Chase Bank robbery

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying and tracking down an unknown suspect who robbed the Chase Bank, located at 6870 Daniels Parkway, just after 5 p.m.

According to witnesses, a black male, wearing a white shirt and a ballcap, entered the branch at 5:10 p.m.  He approached a teller, implying that he was armed, and demanded cash.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man left the bank, headed in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.  Tips may also be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or by submitting a tip on the P3Tips mobile app.
