Suspect named in weekend double homicide
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help tracking down Angel Morales Carrasco (DOB 10/1/92), wanted in connection with a double homicide that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 12.
Deputies were called to 240 Maine Avenue around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday and discovered the bodies of two victims. One has been identified as Wendy Rodriguez Hernandez (DOB 2/1/75). The male decedent has been identified, however next of kin is pending, due to family members being out of the country. Upon his arrest, Carrasco will be charged with two counts of second degree murder, as well as aggravated battery.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Carrasco is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
