BurgerKing2 BurgerKing1Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying and tracking down an unknown female who used a fraudulent credit card in an attempt to purchase more than $1,000 worth of Burger King gift cards.  On Friday afternoon, May 27, the suspect used the compromised card to successfully purchase $800 in gift cards from a Burger King in Naples.  Then last night, around 8:15 p.m., the same woman tried to purchase eight more gift cards, valued at $100 each, from the Burger King located at 26799 S. Tamiami Trail in Bonita Springs.  The alert employee notified her supervisor of the unusual request, which was ultimately denied.

The woman left in a blue Ford F-150, with a cover on the bed of the truck.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
