Knife wielding suspect sought in early morning Circle K robbery
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying an unknown suspect who robbed a Lee County Circle K convenience store at knifepoint early this morning.
Around 1:20 a.m., a black male entered the Circle K, located at 17170 San Carlos Boulevard. The clerk, who was stocking the cooler at the time, went to greet who he thought was a customer, only to be met by a man holding a large knife and demanding all the cash from the register. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled on foot in a northbound direction.
The suspect is described as 5’3”, with a medium to heavy build. During the robbery, he pulled a jacket over his head in an attempt to conceal his identity.
