Search is on for late night armed robber

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying a partially masked man who held up the Hardee’s fast food restaurant at gunpoint last night.

Just after 10 p.m. on August 30, an unknown male entered the restaurant, located at 4900 Palm Beach Boulevard, brandishing a silver revolver and demanding money from the register.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the store on foot. 

The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, between 22 and 24 years of age, 5’8” and 6’0” with a thin to average build, dressed in all dark clothing with material covering the bottom part of his face.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
