Shoplifting ladies connected to string of thefts
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying three unknown females who are believed to be involved in a series of retail thefts in Lee County over the last few weeks.
In every instance, the females enter the stores toting large bags. While perusing the businesses, they’ve been caught on camera stuffing various clothing items into their bags and walking out of the store without paying for the goods. In some cases, the women take special note of the locations of surveillance cameras and avoid them altogether – and the thefts aren’t detected until inventory is done at a later time. Two of the most recent thefts have occurred at the Old Navy store at Page Field Commons on US 41 and at Victoria’s Secret at the Bell Tower on S. US 41.
Anyone with information on the identities and whereabouts of the women is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000. Tips may also be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or by submitting a tip on the P3Tips mobile app.
Note: Three surveillance stills of the suspects are attached to this release. There is no video available at this time.
