Suspect sought in early morning home invasion robbery
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying and tracking down an unidentified male who broke into a Pine Manor home and robbed a woman at knifepoint early this morning.
Around 4:40 a.m., the victim was at her home, located in the 5600 block of 8th Avenue. As she was walking out of her bathroom, an unidentified black male grabbed a phone and tablet from the woman’s hand while brandishing a razor knife. He demanded that she lie on the bed, with her head covered, stating “I have more than the knife – do what I say and you will not be hurt.” In fear for her life, the victim complied. The suspect left a short time later, taking a 55” flat screen television with him.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6’1”, 35 years old, 200 pounds with short black hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a black design at the time of the robbery.
