1994 COLD CASE MURDER - 4 GUNMEN & A GETAWAY DRIVER #TheSearchContinues

On December 2, 1994, the victim and eight other people were in a large red and white van traveling to Miami. Somewhere along SR 29, the van's driver stopped and picked up four additional men who were along the roadway. Just north of I-75, one of the new passengers pretended to be sick, and the driver pulled over. That's when the four men pulled out guns and robbed the other passengers of money and valuables. They shot the victim, later identified as Wilfred Jocelyn, another passenger, and the van's driver. Jocelyn later succumbed to his injuries

The four suspects fled the scene in a dark red or brown vehicle, possibly a 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass or a Ford Tempo, with a fifth person as a driver. That vehicle had been following the van. It is believed the car headed back west towards Naples.

STATUS: OPEN

This week marks the 16th anniversary of the brutal murder of 84-year-old Eileen Seymour. On March 2, 2006, the body of Seymour was discovered brutally murdered in her home on the 1600 block of NE Fiveash Street in Arcadia, Florida. Investigators said it appeared that she had been attacked at the doorway. Her walker was left at the front door, and once inside, the assailant murdered the elderly victim, stole money from her wallet and the rings she was wearing right off her fingers.

Somebody approached Seymour that she knew, had seen or convinced her to go to the door. Investigators think the suspect is a black male in his 40s, who may also have lived in the trailer park.
